A Sanctuary for All

A few years ago we commenced upon a great long range goal in building a family life center to house the ministries of the church and to reach out to the communities and world. Thanks be to the almighty God we have accomplished that goal. Yes, the Lord is pleased when we carefully think ahead, but He wants our planning to include Him.

I would not run ahead of God
But in His Spirit Move;
I’ll trust His promises to lead

my feet in paths of love

As we celebrate this milestone by dedicating the New Sanctuary we continue to pray for unity. In John 17, Jesus prayed that believers would have unity with each other as He had with the Father. Our unity must be rooted in loving submission to God. As we obey the Father and draw on His love, the Holy Spirit creates a sense of oneness between us, regardless of disagreements over minor issues.

Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love!

Hebrew 10:22, 23 says:

“Let us come near to God with a sincere heart and sure faith, And let us hold fast to the faith we profess, because we trust God to keep His promise”.

We give into the Lord the glory due to his name for all the good things He’s done for the Elizabeth Baptist Church family and its community.
